A peaceful permaculture garden made from an old paddock in a frost pocket with: rainwater harvesting; a recycled greenhouse; wildlife meadow; pond; forest garden; fruit trees and much more. I use various strategies to outwit the animals that come in from nearby fields such as old fridges for storing fruit and veg. I have 14 raised beds made from recycled plastic (several of the wooden beds rotted after the floods in 2007). I practise no-dig gardening which I consider best for the soil and everything that lives and grows in it.
